This is a recipe that I have known and loved for quite some time. This makes a great snack, and easily makes a great appetizer/party treat for large groups. Everyone that I have ever made these for has loved them, and they will always be asking for more! (I know that I can eat a full batch to myself) Now, this recipe is for a small batch (roughly 32), and the quantities can easily be multiplied to make more.
Ing.
- 1 package lil' smokies party weiners
- 2-3 packages of Pillsbury crescent rolls, original (now you can get flavored if you'd like to try)
- Thinly sliced or shredded Parmesan cheese
2. Roll out the crescent rolls, and cut them in half. The rolls usually come to make 8 rolls, so one roll will make 16.
3. Take one of the wieners, and roll it up with the crescent roll from one corner to the other. Continue doing so until you run out of crescent rolls, then open another roll and repeat.
4. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
5. Once your done rolling all of your wieners, take your shredded cheese and place a small mound on top of each roll. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Pull out of oven and allow to cool.
These will go extremely fast! They can either be served with ketchup, or eaten plain! Either way, they are extremely delicious!! Enjoy!
